The Households in Conflict Network (HICN) is organizing an international workshop to bring together researchers from different social sciences and countries sharing a common interest in studying the effect of outside interventions in conflict-affected areas.
We invited papers that can shed light on the effect of food aid on the beneficiaries as well as the warring parties, on demobilization, reintegration and employment programs, on the role of media during conflict, on forced displacement, on new ways to collect data during conflict and on the impact of prevention and peace programs, to name but a few.

The conference language will be English. Submitted papers may be considered for publication in a journal special issue or edited volume; further details will be shared at a later date.
