The 10th annual workshop will be held at the World Bank, Washington DC on February 12 2015.
We are seeking new and innovative contributions that shed light either on the micro-economic analysis of peace and conflict or on the evaluation of the impact of projects and programs that aim to reduce violence and promote peace and development. A non-exhaustive list of themes we are interested in is: former combatants, refugees, health and education, corruption and governance, trust and social capital, income and land inequality, cash transfers, mobile technology, police and security, anti-personal mines, elections, taxation, trade. We also have a particular interest in papers that consider the short term and long term effects of conflict and violence on poverty at a micro level. The workshop is organized in the context of the Fragility Platform organized by the World Bank. Please send your paper to the email address: hicn.fragilityforum@gmail.com before 15 November 2014. You will be notified by 1 December if you are invited to present your paper.
